These tutorials are a practical non-techie approach to basic optimization strategies. For all you newbies this is a good foundation you can build on. The search engine placement tutorials are designed to follow one after the other, as I have used the same examples to build the classes around. The tutorials are broken down into several search engine optimization classes that will clearly step by step take you through the basic placement strategies.  

I have also limited the optimization of this site to tools and strategies used in the tutorials.  My hope is that as you go through the tutorials – you will start to recognize the optimization.  But I will also point out the different way I have optimized this site as I designed and built it.

Remember no quick rich schemes, dangerous short cuts, or splashy little animated programs designed to do the work for you.  Just good solid practical advise – The Girlfriends way.  So grab a cup of your favorite – and conquer the not so mysterious – defiantly not rocket science world of SEO.
